Bertram"Shorty"Horner was a Gentleman of the highest magnitude.For it was he that developed the Manly Stance.For years he would stand in his study assuming different postures.One day he would stand left hand casually on hip whilst holding out the right hand,authoritively resting it on his Brass Knobbed Stick.Of course whilst assuming these postures Bertram would be fully Top-Hatted, maybe even at a tilt should the occasion require.On other days he would stand by the fire place with his right leg out-stretched.He'd be sporting a glass of the finest Brandy in one hand whilst the other would be holding a Monacle close to his eye,while at the same time caressing his Handlebar Moustache with his lesser finger.
